Historical Significance

Further research is needed to determine this building's original site. It may represent the small structure which appears to the southeast of the moulding room on the 1903 atlas. The 1885 atlas indicates that a long narrow shed was located on this house's present site. Broad St. was laid out in 1805-1806 as the Boston and New Bedford Turnpike (including Broad St., now Route 18).
